Chilli Chicken Recipe | Indo-Chinese Cuisine

Chilli Chicken . Need I say more?
I know this most popular indo chinese chicken recipe needs no introduction. We all love it..Right??
So just grab your ingredients and let's get started!

For Marination
Chicken 500 gm
Salt as per taste

For Marination
Boneless chicken 500 gm
Salt as per taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
Castor sugar 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Oil 2 teaspoon
Soya sauce 1 tablespoon
Vinegar 1 teaspoon
Egg- 1
Cornflour 1/4th cup
Maida 1/2 cup
Oil for frying

Bell pepper 1 medium size(yellow)
Capsicum 1 medium size
Medium size onion
Spring onion 2 
Green chilly 2 to 3
For sauce
Soya sauce 2 tablespoon
Tomato sauce 3 tablespoons
Chili garlic sauce or paste 1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon caster sugar
Vinegar 1 tablespoon
For stir frying 
2 tablespoon oil( I used sesame oil )
1 tablespoon chopped garlic and ginger
For thickner
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Step 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl add washed boneless chicken, salt, black pepper powder,castor sugar,ginger garlic paste,oil,soya sauce,vinegar and 1 egg . Mix it well. Now add corn starch, maida and baking powder and water little by little . mix it really well . Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Frying the chicken
Now fry marinated chicken in hot oil and fry till it gets half done or semi cooked. Let it rest for 5 minutes or so and again fry them on hot oil so that it will get more crisper from outside and perfectly cooked from inside. 
Step 3
Preparing the Chicken with vegetable
Chop capsicum,bell paper in cubes , Onion in bulb shape, chop spring onion and slit green chilli and finely chop ginger and garlic.
In a wok or kadai add 2 tablespoon oil of your choice ( I used sesame oil) , add chopped garlic and ginger. Sauté it for 30 seconds , add chopped spring onion ,bulb onion, saute it for a minute and add bell paper,green chillies, saute it on high flame as Chinese cooking is all about high flame cooking!
Now add salt , black paper powder and mix well!

Now add the sauce that we prepared like this:
add soy sauce in a bowl, with chilli garlic sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, castor sugar, mix well and add to the above vegetables.

Mix the vegetables and the sauce well. Then we'll add our thickener that we'll prepare like this:
Add some water to 1 tablespoon cornstarch, mix it well and add it back the veggies mixed in the sauce.
This will thicken the entire mixture.

Add your fried chicken, mix it all really well, and we're done!
