Homemade Mango Ice Cream Recipe!

This recipe is getting really popular on my YouTube channel, and it deserves it as it was an absolute favourite at my home, and at the same time, very very easy to make!

So here are the ingredients you'll need, 3 ingredients only!

Mangoes 1 Kg
(After making a puree of these, you'll have about 800 grams)

Whipped Cream 500 millilitres 

1 Tin of Condensed Milk


1) Whip the cream, the consistency has to be very thick when done, and to ensure that, your cream should be very cold,chilled. In case you don't have chilled cream, put ice in the bowl.
2) Now add in the condensed milk. You dont need any sugar as condensed milk in itself is very sweet.
(but you can add sugar if you want it veryy sweet.)
3) Once mixed well, keep in the fridge. Meanwhile, Prepare the puree of mangoes.
4) Blend the mango pulp together to make a puree, I had kept some chunks/pieces separate for later. You'll find out for what ;)
5) Take out the whipped cream and condensed milk mixture. Add 2-3 drops of vanilla essence, its optional but adds a lot of flavour for me.
6) pour all of the puree into the cream mixture and mix well!
7) if the colour seems insufficient, you can add a few drops of yellow food colouring. But if you're getting creative, you can serve a red/blue/green mango ice cream depending on what colour you choose. How fantastic and unique! (Traditional is yellow)
8) Blend and mix well together so you get an extremely smooth texture.
9) Now we have to freeze it. Put it in an air tight container(closed lid) and freeze for about 4-6 hours. However: Important- Do stir in every hour so that the ice cream doesn't get any ice crystals.
10) Here comes the twist! Just add in those chunks we left earlier so you get them while eating the ice cream!

While taking the ice cream out with a scooper, if its too chilled, dip your scooper into warm water and it'll come out easy!
