Bhindi Masala
Hi everyone! I am going to prepare yummy Bhindi fry recipe. Its healthy and its a North Indian cuisine. My family loves it. So I would like to share my recipe. The geographical origin of bhindi is West African, Ethiopian and South Asian.
Bhindi is rich in:
Bhindi promotes healthy pregnancy. It has high level of Vitamin A,B Vitamins (B1,B2,B6) and Vitamin C. Its supplement for fibre and folic acid, traces of zinc and calcium.

Cook Time- 30min
Preparation Time-15min
Total Time- 45min
Ingredients:
Bhindi – 1/2kg (finely chopped)
Green Chilli- 4pieces. (finely chopped)
Mustard oil – 2tbsp
Onion Seed- ½ tbsp.
Big Onion- 1 cup (finely chopped)
Salt-2 tbsp.
Turmeric powder- ½ tbsp.
Coriander powder- ½ tbsp.
Red Chilli powder-½ tbsp.
Dry Mango Powder-½ tbsp.
Garam Masala-½ tbsp.
Instructions:
- Wash and dry the Bhindi/Lady’s finger,Green chilli and then chop it. Set aside.
- Heat the pan with 2tbsp of mustard oil with a medium flame. Once the oil is hot add the Onion seeds and chopped green chilli and Bhindi/Lady’s finger to the pan. Let it cook for 15-20min.
- Sauté the bhindi/Ladys finger until the sliminess gets disappeared.
- Add chopped onion, salt to taste. Saute it for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the spices- Turmeric powder ,coriander powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder, garam masala. Mix the spices well with the bhindi and keep it in a low flame and close the lid. Allow it to cook for 3min.
- Open the Lid, keep it in a high flame and mix it properly.
- Serve bhindi masala with Roti/Paratha/Sambhar rice/Dhaal Rice/Curd rice.
